Vice President, Product Development, Bundling

Overview: The VP, Product Development for Bundling will have overall end-to-end responsibility for the full cycle product development in support of driving success for the bundling initiative globally. This role will be responsible for driving the execution against one the organization's top priorities. He/she will look horizontally across existing Mastercard assets to package global/multi-region solutions which address customer needs. This is a transformation from single product sales to configurable solutions which means multiple internal processes will need to be adjusted to allow bundle enablement. The position plays a critical role in our ability to drive and deliver differentiation within the issuer, merchant, and acceptance community resulting in better relationships, preference and revenue. Role: The VP, Bundling Product Development, will lead the development and commercialization of configurable and pre-determined bundles. Infrastructure support will be required, as today bundles can be difficult to implement and service. Bundles will not be absorbed by issuers unless we make execution easy for them and processors. This includes defining and developing the strategic framework, use cases, project plans, business constructs, and models for building break-out revenue businesses successfully. Once achieved, we will demonstrate to customers the full value of our services, showcase our truly digital capabilities, drive differentiation, and speed to revenue. This role requires an individual who is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives on breaking entirely new ground. She/He should be an excellent communicator and collaborator, and have a strong flair for product development Responsibilities: o Responsible for developing inspiring Bundling platform/product visions, derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends o Support and deliver the Bundling concept through idea generation, concept validation, defining product requirements; interacting with platforms and development during product development life-cycle. o Develop a product road map that incorporates regional/global market demands, customer experience improvements, delivers against company objectives and drives revenue targets. o Partner with technology teams to define the desired user experience, product features and product releases that provide company and customer value. o Conduct market research including working across multiple product lines to understand target audience needs and issues. o Provide support and technical product knowledge to sales and customer facing teams with communication and training on product functionality and enhancements in sales, on-boarding and support cycles o Demonstrates and executes thought-leadership, product/technology development expertise and strong project management skills in the integration of technology into new product and service solutions o Deliver platform products and associated artifacts that set the standard for engineering excellence o Define API standards needed for Products to 'plug into' the bundling engine o Develop new platform capabilities to create, build, and deliver Bundles o Develop bundle configuration/ customization capability All About You: o Can deliver high quality technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly o Extensive experience delivering technical platform products o Comprehensive experience in agile delivery methodologies o Proven success at synthesizing products and services from multiple functional areas into compelling value propositions that align with customer needs on a global level o Strong passion for and knowledge/expertise of technology, payments, business payments; strong desire to always be learning o Strong analytical skills; ability to solve problems quickly, establish frameworks, think on your feet and generalize solutions o Excellent oral and written communication skills, tailored for a wide variety of audiences o Ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of an organization o Forward-thinking, with ability to deliver creative approaches to solve business pain points o Strategic thinker with bias for action o Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment with multiple responsibilities o Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred o B2B product life-cycle experience is preferred Mastercard is an inclusive Equal Employment Opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
