Staff Accountant - Revenue Accounting
Overview:
Perform A/R functions including billing, cash receipts, cash application, collections, and month end analysis.
Responsibilities:
Record daily cash receipts which includes, but is not limited to, wires, lockbox, and local deposits
Responsible for normal cash application activity associated with accounts receivable including follow ups, and contact customers to obtain necessary remittance information
Prepare and send A/R invoices to customers
Provide monthly A/R aging report to Sales and Marketing
Prepare month end accruals
Prepare month end analysis
Responsible for account reconciliations
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
1-3 years work experience in accounts receivable / general accounting
Strong analytical skills
JD Edwards software and airline experience a plus
Must be able to demonstrate professionalism in communicating with various departments within the company
Good oral and written communications skills
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft applications
Available to work extended hours as needed
