Lending Attorney
The candidate will cover the legal documentation needs and transactional support for the Wealth Management business. Will serve in the preparation and review of loan documentation, interactions with outside counsel and advising on standard securities based lending transactions in the wealth management business. Manage template documentation portfolio for covered products and coordinate necessary amendments and updates; work with paralegals, credit and risk specialists, high net worth lending specialists, private bankers, financial advisers and operations personnel to review and prepare loan documents, close and administer standard securities-based lending transactions. Review corporate and other entity organizational documents to determine capacity and authority to borrow and pledge, coordinate related due diligence and prepare related closing resolutions and certifications. Prepare and draft amendments, waivers, forbearances and other modifications with respect to existing loans. Assist and advise credit and risk specialists on other day-to-day legal and transactional matters and related projects and initiatives on an as-needed basis. Should have 3-5 years of experience at a major law firm and/or financial institution, and be knowledgeable in documenting and negotiating lending transactions and in the relevant laws and regulations applicable to loan transactions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
