Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property and Patent
The candidate will provide expert legal advice and support as part of company's Intellectual Property and Technology legal function to company's technology and product development groups on a worldwide basis. Provide strategic legal support to company?s technical and business management and staff. Responsibilities include a wide variety of complex intellectual property (IP) and technology legal matters, including: Collaborating with company?s rapidly evolving technology businesses; Formulating and implementing an enhanced IP strategy for company; Developing and improving processes for building a strategic IP portfolio; Educating and communicating with employees on IP strategy and practices, including facilitating ?invention harvesting? sessions; Overseeing patent prosecution, portfolio management and supervision of outside counsel; Providing IP support for corporate acquisitions and transactions; IP litigation management; Advising internal business clients on a broad range of IP, licensing and related legal issues; Structuring, negotiating, and drafting technology license agreements; and Managing the inventor recognition program.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
