Knowledge of GAAS, auditing, accounting standards, and application of generally accepted accounting principles Perform audits, compilations and review engagements.
Preparation of financial statements including footnotes Ensure job execution, documentation, consultation and completion in accordance with required policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Accounting degree from an accredited college/university required.
Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
Experience with CIRA audits preferred Demonstrate knowledge of basic auditing, accounting standards and proficiency in related computer applications, as acquired through coursework or other training.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, QuickBooks and Accounting CS preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
