What you'll do as a Junior Accountant:
Assist with weekly accounts payable (A/P) activities, including check preparation and vendor communication.
Support monthly customer billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist with reconciliations and uploads of monthly travel and expense (T&E) data into the accounting system.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Take responsibility for preparing vendor credit applications, ensuring timely processing.
Collaborate on project work, including the integration of expense management software into the accounting system.
Demonstrate a willingness to assist with ad hoc tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.
What we are looking for in a Junior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience with relevant accounting software is preferred, showcasing your ability to work with different systems.
Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships within the team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets and perform basic data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
